How to get in touch
Written messages only. World Time Lab has no phone line, no live chat, and no support desk.
The operator of World Time Lab does not run a phone line, a chat widget, or a ticketing system, and World Time Lab has no contact form. That is deliberate: a static site with no form is a site that cannot lose your data.
Three common reasons to write, and where they go
1. Something on the site is wrong
A time that does not match, a missing zone, a region named incorrectly, a holiday on the wrong day, a broken layout. Read Corrections and error reports first. It lists the four things that make a report actionable, page URL, the value shown, the value you expected, and your source, and it also lists the known limits that are not errors, so you do not spend time on a difference that is already documented.
2. A privacy question or request
The privacy policy describes exactly what runs on your device and what leaves it, including every browser storage key the site writes. Most privacy requests are answered by that page: World Time Lab has no accounts, so there is no profile to export or delete. If your question is not answered there, write and say which build you were using and what you want to know.
3. Licensing, attribution, or reuse
If you want to embed, quote, or reuse something, start with Methodology and data sources. Much of what looks like World Time Lab data is third-party open data carrying its own license and its own attribution requirement, and those obligations travel with the data rather than with this site. The terms of use cover what applies to the site's own text, design, and code.
What to expect
- No guaranteed response time. Mail is read by hand, not by a helpdesk system. Clear reports with a URL and a source are the ones that get acted on first.
- Not every message gets a reply. Bug reports and corrections usually do. Link exchange offers, guest post pitches, and bulk marketing do not.
- Fixes ship with the next release. World Time Lab is a static site, so a data correction reaches you when a new build goes out, not instantly. The version in the header tells you which build you are looking at.
- Your message is not published. Correspondence is not posted, quoted publicly, or used in marketing.
Please do not send
- Sensitive personal information. Email is not a secure channel, and the operator of World Time Lab does not need your identity documents, financial details, health information, or passwords to answer a question about a clock.
- Account or deletion requests for accounts that do not exist. World Time Lab has no sign-up, so there is no account to close and no stored profile to erase.
- Legal, medical, religious, or financial questions. World Time Lab publishes calculations, not advice, and cannot tell you whether a deadline, an observance, or a filing is valid where you live.
